About the Project
In an ongoing effort to provide quality wireless service, AT&T has identified your community as one that will benefit from improved network coverage.
Milestone Towers is proposing a wireless telecommunications facility at The John Dickinson School, addressed 1801 Milltown Road Wilmington, DE 19808.
The proposal is for a 132-foot stealth tree pole and will include ground equipment required to operate the facility.
This equipment will be located at the base of the structure in a secure fenced area. AT&T will be the first wireless carrier to locate on the proposed tower.
Update #5: Special Use Permit (2022-0012-A) was approved by the Board of Adjustments on March, 24th.
Update #4: Special Use Permit (2022-0012-A) will go before the Board of Adjustments on Thursday, March 24th @ 6:00 pm. Also, based on community feedback during the Town Hall we have included a gate at the Grendon Drive access point which will allow foot traffic but not allow unauthorized vehicles access.
Update #3: Zoning Special Use Permit application (2022-0012-A) was submitted on 1/5/22.

Our Process
1. Due Diligence
Survey, FAA, FCC, NEPA, Phase 1, Geotechnical Analysis.
2. Land Use
Site Plan Application, Special Use Permit Application, Community Notification, Board of Adjustments.
3. Permitting
Conduct Bid Walk With Contractors and school representatives, submit site plan and building permit applications.
4. Construction
Tower construction = 4-6 weeks | Carrier construction = 4-6 weeks on average
On-site supervision by Construction Manager | Schedule with schools to minimize disturbance to student activities.
5. Site Maintenance
Four visits per year for site maintenance | Remove trash, debris, check signage.
Annual RF testing | 2-4 visits per year for carrier modifications.
